BLU Maritime Consultancy Conducts Campus Placement Drive at Amity University, Mohali

BLU Maritime Consultancy conducted a campus placement drive at Amity University, Mohali on 21st January, engaging with a promising pool of aspiring professionals and reaffirming its commitment to nurturing young talent for the maritime and logistics industry.
As part of the initial screening process, an online assessment was conducted on campus for the role of Operations Executive. The assessment covered Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, Verbal Ability, and General Knowledge, ensuring a fair and comprehensive evaluation of candidates’ core operational competencies.
The drive was led by Capt. Varun Sharma, General Manager – Operations, whose leadership ensured smooth coordination and effective execution. BLU Maritime Consultancy extends its sincere appreciation to the placement cell and faculty of Amity University, Mohali, for their valuable support and cooperation.
The company looks forward to advancing with the shortlisted candidates and continuing to build strong, long-term partnerships with leading academic institutions

Diwali Celebration

BLU Maritime Consultancy and BLU Healing Hearts recently joined hands to host a charitable Diwali celebration, uniting families from the maritime industry and beyond for a noble cause.
At the picturesque Singapore iFly rooftop in Sentosa, more than 150 guests gathered to witness a stunning sunset backdrop, anchored ships, and the dazzling fireworks of Songs of the Sea. The ambiance was filled with joy as attendees adorned themselves in exquisite Indian-themed attire, honoring the essence of Diwali that transcends cultural boundaries.
The event's proceeds will benefit Blu Healing Hearts' supported charities in Singapore, with a special emphasis this year on the Singapore Children's Cancer Fund, alongside aid for seafarers and educational assistance for underprivileged children.
A heartfelt thank you to all contributors, supporters, and attendees for their kindness and generosity, which made this event a resounding success.
Let us together continue to ignite lives, echoing the message of Diwali that light, hope, and compassion can brighten even the darkest of times.
ISSA 67 Convention
15th - 17th October 2025
The ISSA 67 Convention 2025, co-hosted by ISSA Shipsuppliers Association and SASS Singapore, was held at W Hotels Sentosa from 15–17 October 2025, bringing together over 300 delegates and 40 international buyers representing ship owners, managers, and catering companies from around the world.
A key highlight was the Meet the Customer (MTC) programme, which enabled structured one-to-one meetings across three days, fostering direct engagement and new business opportunities. The convention also featured a vibrant exhibition and conference sessions addressing procurement, digitalization, AI, automation, and the evolving role of ship chandlers.
BLU Maritime Consultancy Pte. Ltd. proudly participated as a host and honorary member, led by Capt. Harminder Singh, with five delegates and invited ship owners. The event concluded with a gala dinner attended by ministers, VIPs, and industry leaders, while strong youth participation underscored the growing globalization and intergenerational collaboration within the maritime supply chain.
SSA 40th Gala Dinner

On 26th September 2025, Blu Maritime Consultancy had the privilege of participating in and sponsoring the Singapore Shipping Association’s 40th Gala Dinner – a landmark celebration of maritime excellence.
Held at the iconic Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre, the evening welcomed over 2,600 maritime professionals from across the globe, making it one of the largest maritime gatherings worldwide. Guests were treated to a posh, sumptuous seated dinner and drinks, elevating the evening into a memorable showcase of hospitality, fellowship, and pride in our industry.
We were especially honoured to have the Singh family, founding members of Blu Maritime Consultancy, in attendance to represent our company at this milestone occasion.
A sincere thank you to the Singapore Shipping Association for orchestrating such a grand celebration, and to the maritime community for once again coming together with pomp and splendour to demonstrate the strength of an industry that truly keeps the world moving.

Singapore Shipping Association 39th Annual Gala Dinner

BMC attended the TradeWinds Shipowners Forum, held at MBS Convention Center in Singapore. Such a well coordinated & informative conference.
With climate change becoming an ever pressing concern, the push for greener practices has reached the maritime industry. And now, we constantly see the scorching topic of ‘decarbonisation’ that has been dominating for the last few years. This transition will surely take its own course, but at least we have reached a starting point. Am looking forward to see what comes next!
